Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio and now residing in Texas, Jacqueline Ward has spent over 35 years simply listening to people. She has sat with them through their deepest struggles, their unanswered questions, their moments of doubt and desperation, and their quiet victories. In all of that listening, one truth became clear: people are not alone in their struggles.

These readings are Jacqueline's attempt to pass forward what 35 years of listening to people have taught her. Through her mother's legacy, through seasons of hardship, and through the transformative power of grace spotting, she offers the gift that listening provided to her: the assurance that God sees you, knows your struggle, and is present in your waiting.

This is more than devotional writing—it is a conversation between two people who understand that faith is real, struggles are valid, and you are not walking alone.

I've listened to thousands of faith stories. I've sat with people in their deepest questions, their most hopeful seasons, and their most devastating losses. I've learned that faith isn't one-size-fits-all. It's a journey with different chapters, that’s why I wrote three books. We need different books for different seasons.

These three books are written for different chapters of that journey. They're not separate stories. They're three movements of one composition, designed to walk with you through every season of faith.

This book teaches:

  • • Integration work

  • • Redefined identity

  • • Purposeful reconstruction

After crisis passes, transformation begins. This book guides you through the sacred work of becoming—grieving who you were while celebrating who you're becoming. It's about integration, not returning to normal.

Five Decades of Devotion

A Year of Devotions

Faith in the In-Between

Finding Grace When Life Feels Unfinished

The Interconnected Journey

Five Decades of Devotion: A Mother's Walk with God was the catalyst. Honoring her mother's fifty years of faith and wisdom awakened Jacqueline's own passion to serve others in deeper ways. This legacy inspired her to ask: "How can I reach people in different seasons of spiritual need?"

The Waiting Room emerged from recognizing that many people face seasons where they feel abandoned, uncertain, and desperate for God's presence. Jacqueline's mother's unwavering faith through difficult seasons showed her that God never abandons His people—a message the world desperately needed to hear.

Roots of Grace completed the trilogy by offering the transformational pathway for those ready to grow, rooted in the grace that sustained her mother through fifty years. The Grace Spotting practice—documenting God's faithfulness—came directly from observing her mother's lifetime of recognizing God's hand in every season.

Emergence: Rising from the Waiting Room after the crisis passes, transformation begins. This book guides you through the sacred work of becoming, grieving who you were while celebrating who you're becoming. Through 30 reflections organized into six transformations, you'll explore redefined identity, reconstructed faith, and clarified purpose.

Faith in the In-Between is the personal transformation to cultural impact, crisis survivors now rebuilding, people recognizing they've transformed and finding new purpose. The 15 embedded transformation stories show this framework in action across real lives—teachers, entrepreneurs, artists, veterans, healers, and everyday people moving from paralysis to purpose.

Together, these Inner Journey Collections reflect one author's journey to honor a legacy and share it with others in every season of their spiritual walk.
